![]() Dalit Women's memoirs are the real testimony of such viewpoint. The women writing against patriarchy from the standpoint of a feminist seems a real critique of Patriarchy. Many female writers tried to question and criticize the hegemony of Men over women in the form of patriarchy. ![]() They are mentally enslaved in such a manner that even if they got freedom in the form of Indian Constitution they still considered themselves as the slaves of their male counterpart. Manusmruti put many barriers on the progress of women as a separate individual and treated her as 'Shudra of Shudras'. ![]() They remained handicapped till the old 'Sun' of Manusmruti set and the new 'Sun' rose on the horizon in the form of Independent, Sovereign and Republic India's Constitution. These fetters in the form of codes imposed all kinds of slavery including social, mental, physical, religious and economical, etc. ![]() Hindu social order sanctioned by the ancient code of Law, Manusmruti put Sudras, untouchables and women in fetters. ![]()
